A bit about me...
I am a Raglan based photographer and storyteller. Originally from the UK, I now find myself living in the coastal town of Raglan, Whaingaroa, with my husband and our two young children. Our home is full of Duplo, cardboard creations, muddy gum boots, laughter, tears, and a lot of love.
I have worked in storytelling for ten years for nonprofits and charities, communicating the stories of the people these organisations serve, focusing on the authenticity and beauty of each individual narrative. Through this, I have been lucky enough to travel to incredible places and meet people from a range of different backgrounds and cultures. I have been invited into homes and trusted, so people are comfortable and open with me. I continue this work now, and my passion for this feeds into my personal work of finding the story of people's lives and connecting with them deeply to ensure I document their life with authenticity.
Things I love...
I love the ocean, it gives me a sense of peace. I love to travel and meet new people learning about different cultures. I also love being at home with my family. I love being in nature, going for long hikes, being by a campfire and wild swimming. But, I also love the city, with the melting pot of different people, food, music and smells. I love the diversity and richness of life and meeting people a long the way. This love for life's experiences fuels my passion for storytelling.
Photography has been part of me for as long as I can remember. As a child I'd spend hours looking at my grandparents' old photo albums and creating a story around specific images. This inspires my photographic style of warmth and nostalgia.

Anyone can take a nice photo of you at sunset, but I will capture those between moments, which is where the magic lies. The knowing looks, laughs and emotions which are unique only to you. Your life doesn't look anyone else's so why should your photos?!
